Film carries with it certain characteristics that give a beautifully rich and organic tone that is incredibly sought after by filmmakers, but unfortunately real film is just not a viable option to shoot on for many filmmakers. But what if there was a way to recreate the look of film in a realistic way using the camera that you already own. In this video we're taking a look at one way that might just be possible.
Dehancer Pro is a powerful film emulation plugin available for Adobe Premiere/After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. It offers an expansive selection of tools to quickly and accurately replicate the look of film with digital footage. In this video we're going to be diving into Dehancer to see just how well it performs and whether or not it should be on your radar.

I recently started using a Mac as someone who swapped from Windows to Linux a year and a bit ago... and the fascinating thing is that Mac just feels like a far less customisable version of Pop!_OS. I'm definitely new to the ecosystem (apart from an ancient iPad 2 I have lying around) so will probably find out I'm just wrong about things, but... why can't I handle file structures and downloaded items manually? Why is the dock mandatory? Why can't you download 90% of the advertised app store apps if your Mac is a little bit old?

As you said video editing drastically downgrades my battery backup time in a day, i am confused i have two options either m1 air with gb ram or i9 specked up 16 inches, 16 inches screen estate is amazing because of the sheer size, m1 air base model is how much faster than this i9, how much performance am i gaining or loosing choosing either of these, main software i use is fcp, need to edit 4k iphone footages and occasional 10 bit footage from a camera but mostly 8 bit , m1 pros are beast i do agree, but in the second hand market i am getting these models in a similar price range,i do own a 13 inch macbook pro 2012 i edit my small instagram reel in 4k without any issue, but i would like more screen if possible but i how much am i loosing in this.

In this day and ahe If you need more storage and ram anyway just get the base m1 pro refresh instead of m1 air let alone finding a custom config with upgrades? It doesn't cost that much more when you upgrade the ram and storage that will already be default in the pro

I feel the same way about why I switched to Mac. I enjoy that the computer and phones are higher quality and they do tend to last longer and work much better together. It's amazing. I hated having to fight with peripherals or fight trying to get files uploaded to my computer from a different device. It is just easy and works as I want when I use my Apple devices together. I can't fault Apple for much, other than perhaps pricing out too many people. I would have switched years ago had I had the money. I don't tend to have much money to spend on anything (including food, housing, transportation) so the rare times I do have money I can't usually splurge on high-end computing devices. Thankfully I did this time, and boy am I impressed and happy with my decisions.

I have used Windows for over 30 years and like the system. What I don't like is the PC hardware. My Windows computers were always loud, even if they had huge coolers and slow-running fans, they always sounded like a loud hairdryer :) Recording something with a microphone nearby was always almost impossible. For creators, I think Macs are the best solution there is... especially because they are quiet (you could say inaudible) and still have a lot of performance! MacOS is also very stable... the latency for audio is very low and the system is reliable. You can't say that about Windows... problems with hardware and the blue "screen of death" I saw every few months. MacOS is so snappy and looks good too. As for the dock, I think Microsoft's taskbar is better in some areas though... and the Finder needs a redesign too, some things are a bit strange there! But overall I like MacOS better than Windows.

02:29 prolly didn't connect to a power source. since windows laptops use x86 hardware configurations, their power efficiency is very bad, unlike MacBooks that use ARM configuration that is built for efficiency. since the power efficiency is so bad, windows laptops limit performance to 40% to protect battery life. Hope this helps.

I'm thinking of moving to a macbook soon too. I used to use it in school and the files not snapping to place was actually one of my favourite things. For photography, when I had too many raws, I'd create 'clumps' of the best ones, ones I could use for somethign else or that inspired me, and ones that are too blurry that will get deleted. It was very usedul and I used it for my art projects too when I did research and downloaded too many resources and needed to sort them

I’ve been using Macs, Windows and unix since the 90’s. Macs can run any os with VMware but no other vender can run Mac’s os. Macs I’ve used out performed and out lasted all the competition. I thought Ms surface pc’s had a chance but I realized that opened architecture makes them unsecured systems. I rather have a secured system out of box.

I’m just a regular techie and I made the switch a couple years ago, and I’ve been regretting it. I do love apples eco system and how it integrates with my iPhone, but the OS still feels like it’s in beta, and reading the forums, they still have lingering issues from like years ago with no fix or guidance in sight. I’m just waiting for the next gen of processors to switch back to windows.
